Hela Baptiste
Joelle had passed Hela a notebook of questions and gave her a moment to look them over, "Thank you so much for agreeing to do this interview with me. I really am so grateful and I can't wait to see what sort of crazy answers you come up with.

Hela looked at the questions with a brow raised, looking over them as if wondering if there had been a mistake. “Is this really..” She started to say and broke out in laughter as she read over them once more. They were absolutely ridiculous questions but ones that amused her greatly.

Pointing to the first question, Joelle read it aloud, "Is There An App That You Hate But Use Anyways?"

“An app..” She repeated with a small laugh. “You know, quite honestly, I absolutely despise any form of technology thats new. Laptops are fine, but these apps-- what do people call them? Mobile applications? I just dont understand most of them, theyre like a foreign language I cannot decipher and im quite good at cyphers!” She exclaimed, pulling out a device from her inner coat-- a smartphone with the screen all cracked. “Well.. this is my phone. It was given by Allison, she said I needed it so we could keep in touch more often rather than popping up wherever she was. I guess she didnt like that very much.” Hela babbled on. “Where were we again? Oh yes! The app. Well I really fancy the app called snapwhat, its a yellow coloured app that has casper on it and it has filters when you take photos. I find them quite entertaining!”

Joelle laughed slightly at Hela's attempt to describe Snapchat. Clearly she needed to teach the other woman a thing or two about technology. She pointed to the next question which read, "What Is The Stupidest Thing You’ve Done Because Someone Dared You To?"

Hela had to think hard for the second question-- not because she had nothing in mind but because there were so many dumb shit to choose from she didnt know which one was the dumbest. “Ah..well there was this one time where i was dared by Allison’s mom, my best friend, that I couldnt steal a hotdog stand in New York, it was a cart that I really liked. I love that thing. Of course I didnt know at the time that she was merely kidding, so I did. I took the Hot Dog cart and teleported out. I think I gave the vendor a heart attack. But of course, Allison’s mom made me return it.” She sighed sadly.

"Strange that she made you return it. I'd have kept it myself," Joelle said honestly as she turned the page to read the next question, "What Part Of The Human Face Is Your Favorite?"

“The human face is an odd thing.” She started off. “Everyone looks so different and have different features and all that stuff. But id have to say my favourite would probably be the eyes. Theyre always so fascinatingly beautiful. Like how you have big brown doe eyes. Beautiful.” Hela finished with a grin, looking into Joelle’s eyes, in a non awkward weird way of course.

Jo found herself blushing slightly at this compliment, "If I didn't know any better, Hela, I'd think you were flirting with me". Joelle was distracted by the next question which she'd forgotten she'd even put on the list, "What Was The Best Thing Before Sliced Bread?"

“Oh! I love bread!” Hela exclaimed in excitement, totally forgetting everything after the word ‘bread’. “I honestly dont know why anyone would slice that loaf. I say leave it as an entire loaf! Id buy that bread anyday.” She laughed.

Nodding, flipped through the book of questions and stopped on one that asked, "Would You Rather Be Trapped In An Elevator Full Of Men With BO Or Three Soaked Dogs?".

Hela made a face at the question, folding her arms and sinking back unto the couch she was seated on. “I think this one is fairly easy--- Three Soaked Dogs.” She answered, shrugging. “I mean, who would want to stay in an elevator filled with bad smelling men? At least the dogs have an excuse!”

Joelle laughed, "Thankfully the kids haven't reached the stage yet where I need to give them the deodorant lecture". She turned to the next question, "Last question, Hela. Would You Rather Live (Permanently) In A Roller Coaster Park Or In A Zoo?"

“This one’s a hard one, since I love both places dearly.” Hela said, almost half pouting. “I mean could I not just live in a Rollercoaster part that ALSO had a zoo?” She pleaded.

"I mean, I guess you could live in both if you really wanted to," Jo said before closing the notebook. "Thank you so much for doing this interview with me". Lots of Love,
Jo
