WEEK 1 OF WoS
Welcome, welcome, everyone to our first week of World of Shadows. I hope you have all had a splendid first week of 2021!
Of course, everyone still has to settle in - but I would like to start today's announcement with the most important news of the day. No, it simply cannot wait till later, because it is already 9 in the evening where I am so it's only three more hours that it is Chester Almonte's birthday! I know that a lot of you have already sent him a message to wish him a happy birthday but... please do it double and comment below!
This brings us to our Hunter of the Week, who is something that always cheers ME up in chat whenever I see them. I would nominate Ches, but... I have already celebrated him and we wouldn't want him to get cocky, now would we? The hunter of this week is Matilda Quinn, who is always present and ever funny and welcoming! Thank you for being such a red presence in our chat!
Talking about our weekly hunters... it is no fun if I nominate them myself, so please send me a message with who YOU think should be the hero of next week. A writing partner, someone who brightens your day? Just someone who you think deserves a bit of a spotlight? All is fair, all is fine!
Talking about Hunters and Happenings... there was a shift in Greens this week! I have spotted the lovely Elora Gallagher take up the mantle of Parapsychology Instructor. We wish her the best of luck! Make sure to follow her classes! This leaves an open spot for a botany instructor! The search for the person with a heart for plants is well underway, so please apply!
Last but not least, did you all see something TERRIBLE happened at the Nexus? It has reached my ears that... a murder has occured. Yes, we had our very own HALLOWEEN MURDER MYSTERY! I am not one for dead bodies myself, I can be quite queasy when it comes to that - you can ask Eislyn why we never watch CSI: Miami... but for the thrill seekers, the link to the topic and information is still up on the homepage, so check it out!
