Have you ever noticed that a lot of humans love being outside when it is cold? I even saw humans traveling to colder places, so they could enjoy the cold winter weather. I was as surprised as humans would be when they realized angels were more than just myths, but it is truly amazing what reasons humans have for this behavior. When I asked someone why he would fly to Canada, he simply told me that they were going on a ski vacation and that he needed the snow for that. Another girl was completely hyped about something called ice-skating. We already know that I am not a fan of snow, but I need to learn to blend in, so I followed the human crowd and found an ice rank.
Once I found a pair of skatesI won't go into detail, because the human survice is a totally different review and learned how to put them on much like shoes apparently, I finally got on the ice. At first it was hard finding my balance. Have you ever thought about how small those iron things underneath your boots are? How do any of you stand on such a small surface? Than again, most women walk on heels that are even more impossible, so I probably shouldn't be surprised by the weird things that humans can...
Anyway, when I found my balance, it was actually fun to skate on the ice. I started to understand the pull humans have to do this. Some girl described it was flying, though I know how flying feels and this wasn't it. Still, there was a certain freedom to skating that made me feel warm and closer to Heaven. The bad side of things came when one girl fell on the ice and everyone around her fell too, including me. You see, the ice is pretty slick and when you lose balance, it actually hurts pretty bad. It is hard to find your balance again after you lost it and in this new vessel, well... Naturally I lost my balance when two girls fell and hit me.
All in all, it was a pretty great day. Sure, skating seems to have its dangers, but I love the feeling that it gives. Perhaps I should go back to the ice rank next week. The people there were really nice and I could use a weekly dose of Heaven. What say yee?!

I love ice-skating! The feeling might not have the same thrill as flying, but it still feels amazing. It is quite relaxing and, despite it being a real sport, the people are really friendly and want to help you. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves at a rank. The only downside is that falling really hurts, but I am sure that it will get better after practising more! ★ ★ ★ ★ ✩
