Welcome back to Angel Radio!

I really hope you enjoyed the first episode!

This time we will keep with some underdog songs again which will make you think
“THAT was on Supernatural?!”
Well, yes.

The first one is “What Cha Gonna Do” and it is to hear in the bar where Sam and Jess meet their friend and we get the info about Sams score in the tests and his interview.

“What Cha Gonna Do” is performed by Classic is found on a Mix Tack called “Music from Chicks Shows (Vol.2)” and it’s from a 1-Season Show called “North Shore” which played in Hawaii.
Of course, some actors from that show appeared later on Supernatural.
Corey Sevier who is Larry the Spa Owner in SE09EP13 (Husband of the Fish-Taco)
Amanda Righetti didn’t appear on SPN but she played in Friday the 13th alongside Jared.
Dominic Purcell knew from Prison Break or Legends of Tomorrow
and not to forget Jason Momoa!

That all doesn’t explain why the song was chosen so I guess we just stay with the fact that “what cha gonna do” is a perfect underline to Sams’s question to Jessica “what would I do without you?”

The second song of the week is “Speaking in Tongues” from Eagles Of Death Metal and it plays in Troy Squire’s car while he’s talking with his girlfriend on the phone, driving down the road until he comes up against Constance Welch aka the Woman in White.

While speaking in tongues is known as the “initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit” this song is actually about an orgasm.
It’s a good connection since Constance tries to seduce Troy and the lines
“If I should touch you, might be e-lec-tro-see you-ted”
“If I should touch you, won't know what has happened
You'll speak in tongues and you will feel your heart race”

are a pretty good depiction of what will happen to him so that would be the reason this song was chosen for that part.

Of course you find our two songs of the Week on our Angel Radio! Angel Radio!

Next week we will finally move on to the big guys!

Keep on rocking and stay tuned my wayword sons and sisters!
