We all know Sam Winchester, the kind, intelligent and independant younger Winchester brother. Sam is described as 'Sweet Selfless Sam' and if you followed the series, that might be pretty accurate. This does not mean that Sam won't kill, as he proved in later seasons of Supernatural that he will do whatever it takes. He also has an incredible mental power, which helps him to overcome even the greatest of evil powers.
When we first meet Sam, in the first ever episode of Supernatural, all he wanted was to have a normal life. He was in college and apparently scored a 174 on his LSATs. However, after the death of his girlfriend, Sam accepts the family legacy and accepts the life of a Hunter. A Hunter that is older brother fully trusts to have his back.
Outside of the role of Sam Winchester, we have Jared Padalecki. Just like Sam has an older brother, Dean Winchester, Jared also has an older brother. Unlike Sam, Jared also has a younger sister, something Sam never had.
Jared Padalecki is 25% Polish and married Genevieve Cortese, who he met on the set of Supernatural. Together with Genevieve he has two sons and one daughter. Sam however has only one son in the series, who we meet in the very end.
Before Jared was cast as Sam Winchester, he was most famous for playing Dean Foster in Gilmore Girls. While filming these series, Jared also appeared in several other tv series and movies. However, after 2009, his focus was mostly on Supernatural. He currently started working on Walkerm where Jared plays Cordell Walker, one of the main characters.Apart from acting, Jared also has his own bar in Texas, who opened in 2018.
